I will be putting pictures up of my lambs very soon.  If you haven't heard about my sheep, you need to take a look.  They are quickly becoming the most talked about sheep in the industry. We have had more breeders stop in to the farm than ever before.  The verdict is in, and the visitors all agree that our sheep are some of the most impressive sheep they have ever seen.  Our lamb crop is literally blowing everyone away.

DOA Hampshires has started the year off with quite a bang.  We showed at the Wisconsin and Iowa State Fairs and found success at both.  Not only did we find success, but we also found acceptance from fellow Hampshire breeders.  I would like to thank all of you that welcomed us with open arms.  It was a great honor to be met outside of the showring by those handling our sheep and giving them praises.  I would also like to thank those of you that visited the farm and bought ram lambs from me.  It is gratifying to know that my genetics will be a driving force behind many of the nations top Hampshire breeding programs.  It is sure to add extension, eye appeal, bone, correctness, and wool to those flocks.
If you are interested I would suggest you get your orders in early for next year. I am retaining several ewe lambs to grow out as yearlings and they show lots of promise.  They all look like carbon copies of my undefeated March ewe lamb. As for lambs next year, my ewes will be split up between Kobi,  Exciter, Glory Days, and Trendsetter.  Come see why my Hampshires are becoming the most talked about sheep in the breed.

DOA 9053 "Entourage"

This ewe lamb placed 3rd in the open show March class and 2nd in the junior show at NAILE in 2009.  Despite not winning her class, she was certainly a crowd favorite.  I had people coming up to me left and right after the shows wanting to buy her and saying she could have easily stood higher.  I guess it just goes to show... placing sheep is just one person's opinion.  I certainly wouldn't disagree with the compliments or analysis.  She certainly brings it all together.
